This course will briefly review information from Part 1; ie, current research on evidence-based treatment strategies for children diagnosed with a (central) auditory processing disorder ((C)APD), and how the overall intervention goal will vary, depending on whether a speech-language pathologist or an audiologist is delivering the treatment. Videos will be shown to demonstrate the clinical application of language processing management goals that target auditory memory, phonological awareness, auditory skills as they relate to metalinguistic cues, prosody training, receptive language issues pertinent to this area, and binaural integration tasks.
