Job Description & Requirements
Speech & Language Pathologist - Home Health - Travel (SLP - HH)
Qualified candidates must possess Certificate of Clinical Competence (in speech-language pathology or audiology) granted by the state Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology.
Valid licensure required
Previous experience required
Performs medically prescribed speech therapy treatment to restore speech, language and swallowing skills and limit further disability following injury.
Able to demonstrate professional procedures in the home care setting.
Able to use office equipment; i.e. beeper, car phone.
Ability to work flexible hours, with weekends and holidays included.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a SLP/ST - Required
Completed Master's program at accredited college/ Certificate of Clinical Competency (in speech-language pathology or audiology) - Required
Possesses a PA license to practice as a Speech Pathologist at time of submission - Required
BLS/CPR - Required
Able to travel to patient's home within service area - Required
Experience with Adult patient population - Required
Auto insurance, vehicle and valid driver's license required for all qualified candidates! DMV checks will need to be run within 24hours of offer acceptance and MUST be clear!
Travel experience through submitting agency - Highly Preferred
