I thought this course was very interesting. I would have never thought about completing speech therapy in a pool. I could see how a pool would increase language and speech sounds. I enjoyed the videos as I’m a visual learner.

This course was very informative for me as a school SLP. We have a pool, and the PT and aquatic therapist are there with the students. I never thought that I could be part of this therapy. I have seen how an SLP can support my students in the pool. The motor planning, the freedom some of my physically challenged students have to help their muscles in the pool, and the energy some of my 3—to 5-year-olds have in the pool will help them follow directions, games, spatial concepts, and vocab.

I had NEVER Thought of doing therapy in the pool. I work in the schools, so I wouldn't get a chance to do it, but this course made me think of two very complex kiddos on my caseload that this kind of therapy would benefit. I am sure there are more, and I'm going to contact our county therapeutic rec program to see what they offer .

Presenter's speaking style, enthusiasm, and energy level was conducive to attentiveness, comprehension, and retention of the info. presented. Excellent content. Transcript, handouts, videos helpful. The speaker engaged the listener with thought provoking questions related to SLP type goals that would be appropriate for her descriptions of what was going on in the water (even in the absence of video!). She was great about illustrating interdisciplinary application for the same activities.
