My favorite take aways were the interaction between language and EF as well as sentence types that are particularly challenging for people with language disorders. Good reminder that language skills do not develop linearly. Would have liked more practical information on applying this information to assessment, goal writing, progress monitoring, and therapy so the information was more useful during day-to-day practice.

I found the presentation of the hierarchy of sentence structure and the relationship to metaliquistics pertinent to my current work with individuals with intellectual disability. The listing of complex sentence types which are challenging and the mention of target causal and temporal words was useful.
