I recognized myself as having been traumatized as a child from 2-5 and am still experiencing trauma to this day and not understanding why or where it was coming from. It has helped me to label what I experienced and am being able to see the impact this trauma has had on my life of 73 years. I am in counseling but only recently and my life has been a train wreck, not with substance abuse or addiction, but marrying the same type of person 4 times and strained relationship with my children.
