I have received a lot of pushback about using intelligibility as a goal. This article was chock full of information about the variety of languages I personally have encountered. Now, I have a wonderful resource for establishing goals and assessment. The ease of language used and repetition helped make the information "stick".

I have more confidence in assessing and working with multilanguage students at the preschool level. It is never too late to learn in this field of speech-language pathology.

The multilingual phonological intervention gave me a better understanding where to begin when doing therapy, example using shared sounds for my multilingual elementary students when addressing therapy, using Vertical Approach, Horizontal Approach and Cyclical Approach for the targeted sounds and words with more than one goal with my preschool cohort. Lastly, the tongue tip clicking on /l/ sounds followed by the lalala if stimulable.
