The speaker had so much information that I felt real learning to use tools she talked about was not possible. She was extremely knowledgeable. She needed 4 hours to do her presentation so the audience could absorb some of the information. I am not a tech wizard and therefore much of it was over my head. Her AI information was a touch of the iceberg since it is so new to everyone. I enjoyed it, but came away with limited that I could use for myself or a patient.

I absolutely LOVE technology and have never thought to incorporate it with my patients. I always deemed it too complex, but finding specific areas that they struggle with will help me and them find the best tool to start with to help them with independence! PHENOMENAL COURSE!

I really loved the demonstrative and visual aspects of this course. I have been using Gmail for over 10 years and did not know about the "Snooze" function. I most appreciated learning about Reader View, guided access, assistive access, and Goblin Tools (Magic ToDo is amazing!). There are so many examples provided for alarms, calendars, etc. This is a course I would highly recommend to all SLPs, for themselves and the people they serve.

The content with examples was helpful, but the presenter's style was distracting. I would like to see whether this presenter had other formats of content or other presentations that perhaps were more clear, since this could be a potentially very useful topic with strategies for working with adults with executive function deficits.

Phones and Google were not around when I was in grad school and tech training was limited to a placement at Boston Children's Hospital. Everyone has a phone these days and many people do have access to computers. This course helped to possibly direct me to the apps I can use with my patients. I do therapy and teach an adult ed class. I wish I had more time to do the research. The resources I learned about will be used immediately.

I am not tech savvy but after this course I feel much more confident to try out some of these new tools I heard about. On the flip side, I have been using a tool called Omnifocus which has been very helpful in my task management after I read a book by David Allen called Getting Things Done.

I don't consider myself tech-savvy and was not raised on technology (internet/email wasn't a thing until my senior year of college, got first smart phone at age 35) but everything discussed in this seminar seemed common sense to anyone who has used a smart phone for a couple years or more (most SLPs fall into this category). This was more a demonstration for someone who knows NOTHING about available technology. I expected more research-based presentation on why and how tech is needed.
