Outstanding!!! Within our profession some of the therapy strategies for pragmatics were vague. Identifying the problem in the solution within a story is such a great way to focus not only on identifying the problem, but the solution and application.

I watched parts 1 and 2 of this series and I think that part 1 gave a great introduction to this topic but this course, part 2, gave more ideas of how to implement literacy-based approaches in speech-language therapy. I thought it was interesting to learn about how students learn with movements, my cues are typically verbal or visual with pictures, so this strategy is one that I am excited to implement into my sessions.

The course provided a wealth of informative information to speech-language pathologists in schools. Instead of planning for the teacher, it is essential to have items that work for students. Making materials engaging and using multiple sources to provide information to students is beneficial for the whole classroom.
