Very practical ideas with excellent modeling/videos. Taught concepts at a good pace with good graphics. I've never taken a course like this and I'm pleased to report that I've used the concepts with great success. The children love the movement and engagement. I've used it successfully during a tele health session as well w/ 13 yo Down Syndrome boy. I believe it will significantly improve his narration and executive functioning skills. Hope it improves comprehension of time concepts too.

I liked the idea of universal design and including movement into narratives. I guess I have just found it helpful to use props and re-enact the story to build episodic memory with stories that have repeated language and using visuals for students to prompt remembering story elements. I guess gestures to prompt to narrative would be similar to action plays with nursery rhymes at an earlier level. There was a lot of extreneous talking that wasn't relevant to the course.
