I loved the conversation regarding lying and theory of mind; along with the ability to decode vs reading comprehension. Even though the former wasn't actually a big talking point, the instructor is reminding us to truly know ASD features and dive deeper into the perceived deficits and consider why they're occurring. This whole course is a reminder that things may not always be what they seem.

This course did a great job at breaking down what is important when assessing a child with Autism. Most settings have to use standardized tests, but this course gives you the skills to look at the standardized questions in a more meaningful way to look beyond can they or can't they do a specific evaluation task and look at "why did they answer that way."

Great presentation! Wish more behavior folks were educated in more areas than just the narrow lane of ABA. This is an excellent presentation for everyone but am wondering if public schools professionals have a better understanding of all of the areas mentioned because of a well rounded education about children of all ages, academics, and individual differences.
