The topic was covered in depth with many examples and explanations. I liked how she explained how to include both CPT codes 92507 and 92526 in the same session, for example. I also appreciated her sharing the research from Robbins and Leder.

Once again, another excellent course from Ms. Collier that addresses the multiple benefits, risks and challenges unique to an SLP's work with older populations. Her suggestions for SLP's were professional and candid especially when they may be asked to support care plan decisions with which they may not agree. The course is clear, concise and evident of Ms. Collier's knowledge, expertise, and deep compassion for older populations.

It's a very relevant topic for Medical SLPs. We come across these grey areas everyday. It's important to highlight and hear what other professionals due in situation where families or Pt's are non-compliant w/dietary suggestions. We have to allow our Pt's the right to refuse our suggestions but at the same time cover ourselves. This is the grey area.

Confirmed my clinical philosophy for pt care with focus on pt's rights - especially related to diet choices. Importancr, pace amd content and timeliness of presentation was unique ! Negative Impact of COVID 19 and variances on skilled care facility clients and family was important to be aware of and incorporate in the therapeutic process; and role of the SLP. also helpful with this population. Mentioned interprofessional communicatrion (Team assessment of t of client and how all folk could work together). Ta;led about current rules regulatrions, statutes that SLPs need to be aware/incoporate

Good information regarding informed consent. Some of the recommendations for documentation/diet orders/care planning do not seem feasible in some SNF environments. For example, the presenter recommends having the physician write the diet order if the pt wants something other than what is clinically recommended. Many facilities only have physicians on site 1x/week. I would love to see further discussion of the logistics of these recommendations.
