The presented did a great job of taking a complicated and involved topic and presenting it in just a one hour course. It was a lot to process, especially for those who are largely unfamiliar with the subject (or are many years out of grad school!). I would rather have a more detailed understanding of the information provided over multiple courses that I could take an hour at a time. Julie is a well-spoken, seasoned presenter who relayed the information in an organized and comprehensive manner

After listening to the presenter, I have a very clear picture of my role as an advocate for children who have experienced or who are experiencing trauma. Julie Kurtz equipped the participants with clear cut strategies, even some key-phrases, to use to de-escalate challenging behavior AND to see beyond it.
