I appreciated the presenter's knowledge about the Cycles Approach and the in-depth way he went through it. I have a few kids on my caseload who I think will benefit from this approach, but I wanted some clarification before I began using it. Also, learning about targeting s-blends first and targeting /l/ and /r/ early is very useful and makes sense!

It was both simple and detailed, providing specifics (what you target, when, how) and ways to modify the approach on a case by case basis. It made it all somewhat less intimidating for someone who has never used this method but hopes to successfully implement it. The instructor was also very personable and provided funny anecdotes and pertinent case studies.

Raul Prezas, Ph.D. presentation on Traditional or Modified Cycles to Expediting Intelligibility for the highly unintelligent was EXCELLENT. This was by far one of my favorite CEUs I've attended/watched. I absolutely love the explanations, examples, and resources he shared. The goal writing section and case studies were especially helpful. I loved how he helped us apply the knowledge from the presentation in the case study for "John D.". I want to see more presentations by Dr Prezas. Want more!

Dr. Prezas covered not only the general overview of the cycles approach multiple times, but also included nuanced examples (e.g. student/child may not need to begin with syllableness) as we know each child is different. He also took the time to provide examples for us SLPs in the school setting and how to apply cycles to multiple students at once.
