Kia Noelle Johnson, PhD, CCC-SLP is the Associate Director of the Arthur M. Blank Center for Stuttering Education and Research Satellite in Atlanta, Georgia, through the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Johnson specializes in developmental stuttering with a focus on culturally diverse populations. She is also a growing leader in providing workshops and presentations on topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical and professional settings. She has contributed service to the profession through several volunteer roles and has mentored countless undergraduate and graduate students within the profession. She serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the National Black Association for Speech-Language and Hearing, is a member of the Board of Directors for ASHA, and also serves as the National Advisor to the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association.
