Angie is such an informative and entertaining presenter. I learn so much from her webinars and also find them to be engaging. This really reiterates the importance of dynamic assessment. I loved that she provided so many suggestions for specific, free resources to support a more thorough and reliable dynamic assessment for students that I can start learning more about and implementing today.

You need a higher score option for instructor’s teaching style! Content of part 1 and 2 has my head spinning - SO useful. Seems like there’s a shift happening in lots of areas in ST - dysphagia treatment comes to mind. In this case, what we thought was best (standardized testing) maybe is for the therapist (look up the number, kinda like a cookbook), but other measures certainly are better for children and their access to skills for success. Thank you heaps, Angie. You’re terrific.

This presentation is really something! It should become a mandatory course requirement for every college graduate competing their master's degree in communication disorders. I applauded Angie's dedication in advocating for every child to have the right for the proper care they deserve. I wish I had someone like Angie when I was growing up it would have changed my entire world. Thank you for everything that you do Angie! We truly need more people like you!

Angie Neal is a wonderful and interesting presenter. Her handouts are very helpful, along with her examples along the way. I feel like I really learned the importance of thinking outside the box on assessments in the elementary and preschool school settings in which I work. I will incorporate more dynamic assessment and narrative assessment strategies as a result. Excellent presentation!

I am a huge fan and proponent of dynamic assessments. The dynamic assessment protocol handout is something that I look forward to using. All of the free resources (e.g., NLM, SLAM, SUGAR, Share and Tell, Miccio, etc) were so helpful. I am going to use these tools as part of my evaluation process. The information on processing dependent tasks was also very interesting and something that I will use moving forward.

As in part 2...this course was extremely informative and again, I learned so much more from these courses and gained a lot more clarity with regards to standardized assessments than when I was in grad school (sad, but true). Moreover, Angie takes such a technical course and brings it to life so we can stay engaged 100% of the time! Although I already do dynamic assessments, I also learned of quite a few things I was not doing and can add to my evaluations for greater appropriateness!
