I took another course from Shari in 2005 called "Meeting the Literacy Challenge" & the techniques taught enriched my sessions with positive results. Today's course encouraged SLPs to utilize those research-based language/literacy techniques & speech/language development components into writing an original Children's book. I have some experience as an author in other genres, but am presently working on a Children's book with my granddaughter. As an SLP, I'll keep all I learned today in mind.
