Excellent information to include in therapy activities. Excellent references and resources. Great encouragement for speech pathologists to become authors on topics we know about. I have written 2 books (and am working on a third) for ESL Adults and this has motivated me to try to write new books for the preschoolers (in speech therapy)that I work with. Although Shari spoke fast, she was easy to understand. I was delighted with this program!

The handouts are wonderful not for just writing a book but also assessing the effective effectiveness of a particular book in therapy.

This course introduced books that were/are written by Speech Language Pathologists. As an SLP assistant, I found it intersting that there are books available for therapeutic use, written by SLPs, that will focus on language goals and other areas that will meet the student's IEP when used in therapy.
