Lots of great ideas. I love the use of books, music and movement in this. These wonderful sessions can also be done without introducing Yoga which is a "Hindu spiritual practice rooted in Sanskrit" which according to the World History Encyclopedia states is an "ancient language in Hinduism used as a means of communication & dialogue by the Hindu Celestial gods." Not all parents would want their child to learn Yoga in speech class. Might be a good idea to inform /get parent permission.

I really liked this course because of what yoga has to offer when working with students that are language impaired. I also liked the fact that you do not have to be a yoga teacher to work with showing yoga poses to kids. This is a different way of thinking to help kids with their literacy skills.
