I enjoyed learning about the different types of neurodiversity and how they shape the way people experience the world. Too often, behaviors of neurodivergent individuals—such as differences in eye contact, tone, or focus—are misunderstood. This training provided valuable strategies for clearer communication, helping to reduce misunderstandings and build stronger, more effective collaboration.

I’m so impressed with this presenter and the important information she shared! I have a student who experienced early language deprivation before her family knew she was profoundly Deaf; I suspect she’s a student who talks about limited topics because of focal vocabulary exposure more than an autistic component; but she also has very challenged working memory and difficulty with finger spelling.
