Mrs. Neal uou have transformed my teaching of R and I was always pretty good at it anyway but now it's faster and easier to teach with faster more efficient results. In the area of automaticity I have also learned sometimes as an SLP we need to shut up because they can match our sounds! I had a 4th grader who could turn that R on when we worked but without my model completely failed. So in ALL my sounds I teach and then use easily id pics to have them say it w/o model. Works better for automatic
