Aphasia patients are often overlooked and underserved by therapy professionals for the lack of information that is readily available to them. This course outlined in detail along with giving videos that shows just what treatment looks like from beginning to end. It was a very insightful course.

This course was excellent because it centered the lived experiences of people with aphasia and translated their perspectives into practical clinical guidance. The emphasis on education, rapport building, family involvement, and community connection highlighted meaningful, person-centered care across all stages of recovery.

What a great presentation. It was good to hear from the perspective of a PWA. In some ways it was validating to hear that some of the things I'm doing is "right," but also knowing I can always do better and more to help.

Out of all the CEs I have taken from this company, this ranks at the top for value and shaping how one thinks about people with aphasia. Each of these survivors has taken us behind their struggle to show us what they truly need, and how recovery is never over but continues on a daily basis. Thank you for this presentation.

Good review on what the aphasia patient needs in order to motivate them. Also, how important it is the instill hope in the patient and to help them understand that there will be progress and there will continue to be progress with their communication skills in the future. To teach them about aphasia recovery and brain plasticity and not just do the therapy. And to listen to them and what would recovery be to them.

I'm truly impressed and almost moved to tears by the Aphasia patient's tireless work at not only their own person recoveries but in helping SLP's understand the isolation an Aphasia diagnosis can place a patient in and on the monumental importance of immediately enveloping the family members and carers into the healing process.

I loved hearing from a group of survivors who had differing perspectives. As we know, each person with aphasia is unique and it's helpful for those early in their careers to realize that when providing information, it's not helpful to provide absolutes. Listening to our patients over many years is how we become seasoned skilled clinicians.
