It was a good reinforcement of what we do in our classrooms in my building, with the OT, too! We have attempted the Station Teaching several times, but seem to have better results with One Teach, One Assist. We work with low-incidence rooms.

The information was basic and does not really address the challenges in collaborating and co-teaching other than the recommendation of having conversation with administrators and colleagues to try to overcome those challenges to make it happen.

I'm corroborating in the school and working around teachers to address the students, either in person or by a form for them tocomplete or sending emails throughout the year. In my school we don't co-teach, we don't go in the classroom to teach, per se, but can give feedback to the teacher about how the student performed or didn't perform.

I appreciate the "permission" to be an educator. When I began as an SLP I was often warned that I was a specialist and to be careful not to become an assistant/teacher. I believe that we can provide so much information (beyond what we can fathom). I have been in classroom for short periods of time and each time am filled with ideas of how to assist through modifications and scaffolding. Thank you for providing a resource to utilize to justify our work in the classroom.

The information presented by Ms. Green was fine, but I think a bit too basic for more experienced clinicians . It should have been listed in the introductory level. At the intermediate level, I wish we had an opportunity to hear which model(s) have been found effective (EBP) for which cases. (Archibald, 2017; Cirrin et al., 2010)

I was hoping to learn more. In my district, the barrier to collaboration is that general education teachers and administrators don't receive this type of training and SLPs are having to take the lead and advocate for collaboration without much support or understanding from teachers and administrators.
