I try to bring routine activities into play, but it would be so much better to implement them with common areas in the home. I need to take a step back and let the parents lead during therapy sessions and embedding strategies in routines would be comfortable for many families.

As a SLP who is getting back into EI after years of treating adolescents, this course was incredibly valuable in teaching how to not just provide therapy to young children, but more importantly, how to include, educate and coach their family members/caregivers in a way that feels approachable and functional. I loved this course!! For a short time, I used to work as a private EI SLP and the biggest struggle I faced was getting certain caregivers to participate. I'm considering starting my own private practice for EI down the line but would like to feel more confident in my ability to engage and empower the caregivers. So, I found all of this information extremely useful and very well communicated! Thank you so much!

I disagree with the answer to #10 being D- all of the above. The question specifically asked about strategies for increasing frequency, which would be answer B, not foundational responsive strategies with would be A and C. The question is misleading at best since only the foundational strategies from the pyramid were included in the course.
