The authors presented helpful information regarding the benefits on nonpharmalogical interventions for people living with dementia. This information may be especially beneficial for SLPs working in longterm care, who can collaborate with activity staff members to implement these programs. It was helpful to see the research supporting these interventions; however, most of the studies cited were from 2005-2015. I'm curious if there is research from the past 10 years regarding these treatments.

It would have been great to go into a little more detail about the SLP's role in the various therapies described, or how to integrate them or use them as adjuncts to other cognitive-communication treatments. Otherwise nicely done.
