This course was excellent, because it gave me a better understanding of documentation as a clinician. As a SLPA, knowing how to write my note. The progress my clients are making. I have had clients that some days can look the same and are not making progress. I will usually reword my language. If I saw a change in the day I will add that to my additional notes. I learned more of unskilled language and what skilled language should be put into our soap notes.

I own a private practice that bills insurance, and this course was extremely helpful in providing concrete guidelines and examples for ensuring skilled documentation and decreased risk for denials. I appreciate the level of detail the author provided for the different clinical settings where services my be provided, in addition to the examples for memory interventions that may be applicable to the dementia population.
