The presenter was excellent, organized and easy to follow/understand. Some years ago, it came as a surprise that public school SLP's were required to determine medical necessity and all the changes to documentation for Medicaid reimbursement. I only wish I'd had the chance to take this course then!

Well done...should be a required course for all CFY's and 1st year employees --- I do med review of contested med records & Melissa covered some of the "cardinal sins" that it seems some software and perhaps some companies allow to continue -- like the same Treatment Encounter Note for 10 or more visits in a row...no changes. Good course

Our rehab documentation is currently under audit. My rehab manger mentioned, "We're getting a lot of denials." I asked if they were SLP denials, and he explained that he didn't have that information yet. This was yesterday. So, here I am completing this course in order to further educate myself. After this course, I feel quite confident that my ST documentation will meet expectations. I did identify an area or two in which I should seek further education from my company regarding billing.
