I appreciated the personal perspective. I only rated "moderately true" because the description mentioned "strategies to share with parents"; I was hoping to get some tips beyond the advocacy component.

it had a great parent's perspective and how as a professional we can support and communicate with them, as well as great resources to help in our own speech practices.

Excellent, real world information, both from a professional and parent perspective. I thought the insight into where parents are coming from to be very helpful. The resources were fantastic and I can use them to share with parents and colleagues right away.

I was happy to know that I know more about Apraxia than I thought I did. I did not, however know very much about the parent side of things. A diagnosis given to a child of an Articulation Delay always has seemed to me to be just a mild problem. However, when parents are given even a mild diagnosis communicates to them their child is imperfect. This can be devastating.
