The presentation was well-organized and presented a lot of information in a short amount of time. The presenter's style was a bit monotonous with limited facial expressions. She appeared to be reading from a script rapidly throughout the presentation but was more animated when answering questions at the end. She referenced the exam questions and emphasized important information throughout the presentation and referenced the SLPros section of the website.

I found this course to be very interesting, informative and easy to understand and follow. Background interview is significant and necessary for the assessment. Presenter provided details for each topic/heading and gave clear and interesting explanations. More importantly were the areas to assess and descriptions of what should be assessed, not just the articulation of sounds but also voice and prosody. Suggestion would be showing more case studies and assessing from the beginning.

I really appreciate that this course targeted DHH population. I liked the insight into all of the background work and precautions to look out for when doing therapy and assessments for these cases. They are not commonly put on my caseload so getting any insight or any reminders from previous courses or school is very important into creating appropriate therapy. I also liked the information that targeted the audiograms, receiving the physical evidence is always so beneficial into planning.
