I liked the manner in which the case studies were presented, with all the different approaches considered and trialed with the different people. It was great to hear about the many different AA devices and have the written resources. I appreciated how the presenter discussed why she trialed some devices and not others. It was good to see her problem solving process and how much the patients perspective and input were considered.

The speaker outlined/organized the info so that it was very clear. The written info as well as the charts / pictures were beneficial. The speaker presented the cases and went from what she did with the client initially and continued with steps taken until the very end. I found this interesting and beneficial. It was great that a # of augmentative techniques/devices were presented.

thank you for sharing the frustrations in choosing a device. I work home health and do not have time to go through all the different devices so it is important for me to narrow down selection. This course provided me with structure and to help me narrow down devices

I most enjoyed the practical information and discussion of application for theory during this presentation. The course did a good job of discussing how best practice and information from the research can be utilized but modified as needed to support functional outcomes in real world cases. Too often, application of theory is not considered during courses like this, and I think this made all of the information that was provided more practical.
