This course provided explanations about varied vocabulary terms often used when working with families speaking more than a single language. It provided the differentiation between terms and clarified questions about assessment types/strategies and best practices for intervention, depending upon treatment approach.

The course was well organized and all definitions were clear and concise. The course was listed as "Intermediate Level," yet the Learning Outcomes identify "basic elements" and I did feel the information was somewhat basic. I would like to see more in depth information targeting specific similarities and differences between languages, for example, Spanish and American English. Maybe that could be provided by Ms Jackson in a future webinar?
