There are immediate take aways, including a list of judgment parameters that will help the clinician with selecting targets. There is a clear description of the content of therapeutic interventions/sessions. She gives time frames to help a clinician expected outcomes in terms of dosage and frequency.

The 5 Step process is so beneficial because it helps narrow the range of error phonemes and increases my confidence in choosing the correct targets. The explanation of choosing enlarged targets, how to identify targets as maximal contrasts (versus minimal pairs)was eye opening. I have started complexity approach and wondered which approach should be utilized, and this answered my question! The 4 key parts of a treatment session will help me to restructure my own treatment sessions.
