In this course the instructor was really great in explaining why it is important to have education and knowledge about patients who have pressure injury, what benefits the patient will have knowing how to use the wheelchair properly, and what other objects or attachments can help make wheelchair use more comfortable for the patient/client.

This is a really good course to increase our awareness and knowledge as SLP's on working with our students in wheelchairs. I was hoping for more information on the seating interventions in relation to AAC (I am currently working with a student we are struggling to figure out how to provide consistent access to AAC due to wheelchair seating) however, I really enjoyed this course as a therapist in that it gives us great information and verbiage to use and understand more when co-treating with PT.
