I have 2 gifted children in my family (very different) and as a speech therapist I work with several. In my experience, not many teachers, even those teaching in the cluster classes understand gifted characters. It was a battle advocating for my very emotional gifted child throughout his grade school and middle-school years. Thank you for this course!

This course was invaluable for my setting as I work in two of the lowest SES communities in two of the states I travel to. My work is with children with reading and written language impairment and, specifically, dyslexia. I have a handful of children who are twice exceptional. I plan to share some of the data mentioned in this presentation with my colleagues.
