The speaker introduced a method or strategy, and then provided a rationale or context, and finally showed how it worked with actual students. The speaker's lecturing style was also successful as it was easy to listen to her. I appreciated her comprehensive application of traditional measures and approaches (e.g. language sampling, scaffolding, vocabulary building) to target the topic at hand of language expression in personal narratives.
