The course was good as far as explaining issues with intimacy after aphasia, however, I feel that I could use more case studies as examples to see how this would like in a therapy setting.

Excellent presentation. Really liked the presenter's style, and her obvious concern that this topic and resources become more available to the communication -challenged individual and their families, etc. Congratulations to Amanda and staff for the wonderful concept and implementation of the weekend retreat.

Fabulous course. Gave me so many ideas of how to address this in my work with people with aphasia! It is definitely an area that I feel some discomfort, but understand how critical communication is to intimacy. This course has inspired me to learn more and become more comfortable so that I can best support my clients! Thank you for addressing an area that is NEVER discussed or taught in grad school!
