This course will discuss specific sleep challenges in the elderly as well as appropriate therapist responses and treatment options. Sleep culture in residential environments, and how those environments can be improved for sleep promotion, will also be addressed.

Teresa Fair-Field, OTD, OTR/L graduated from Pacific University in Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in 1993, and from Chatham University with an OTD post-professional doctorate in 2016. She has worked through the lifespan from early intervention through acute settings, home health, elder health, and end of life care.
