This course provided many ideas for how SLPs can integrate components of programs that may increase resilience in the Alzheimer's population into treatment sessions. I loved the detailed descriptions of the different studies and examples of how SLPs may work collaboratively with OTs to implement the various activities. I'm planning to share this research during my upcoming PPA support groups, to provide participants with concrete ideas of how they might increase resilience in their daily lives.

Teresa Fair was extremely organized and her factual delivery of this information was excellent. I really likedher rate of presentation and explanation of the visual facts she presented. She sometimes repeated what she had said in a manner which correlated perfectly with the visual facts presented. This presentation provides timely research about Alzheimer's Dementia and therapeutic intervention.

Really liked the discussion of the benefit of awe which is too often overlooked. At any age awe often inspired by the beauty and wonder of nature w/ walks or some way to be exposed to the beauty of nature outside is so valuable. Also liked some of the good ideas about how to encourage socialization which is also so important to feelings of self worth.
