Katy Magee has been working in the field of speech-language pathology in the Chicagoland area for over 10 years. She earned her bachelors in communication sciences and disorders from Elmhurst College, a Masters in speech-language pathology at Governors State University, and holds the Certified Brain Injury Specialist certificate. She has experience in primary and secondary school settings, specialized verbal behavior programs for children with autism, private practice and clinical services. As well as a variety of medical settings including acute ICU, inpatient rehabilitation, and day-rehabilitation programs. Currently, she is the cognitive-communication lab specialist at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and serves as a referral service for additional support and expertise in the area of cognitive-communication skills.
