The presenter had a lot of knowledge to share and illustrated her points with good examples. However, the presentation required a lot of note taking instead of being able to read it from the handout. I had to go back and review some parts of the presentation to make sure I hadn't missed something.

Although the overall content was excellent, there was a lot of detail and vocabulary that makes it hard to fully learn and implement in therapy immediately. Also, the information appeared to be more intended for IP based programs, and the acute populations. I did learn some interesting strategies that I can employ with my VA based OP Mild TBI patients.

Understanding a person with a TBI affects their social filters and understanding it affects their right frontal which is their judgement, memory and awareness. Focusing on facial expressions, understanding of inferences or a mental perspective from the speaker and spatial awareness are important to improve communication skills.
