I think it is important to discuss the imposter syndrome as a business owner and SLP I relate. I think the vague protocols and guidelines make it easy to question decisions, while also being of the nature that we want to make the best choices for our clients.

I found this extremely reassuring and helpful as a clinical supervisor! I also think it would be a great read for graduate students to a) help them understand the role of a supervisor better; and b) help them understand themselves better. There can be perceived unrealistic expectations on all sides; this presentation helps to discuss those expectations and what is appropriate to feel and what is not, as well as the tools to combat negative feelings.

This course is a synopsis of me. I was an elective mute in all schools I attended from the age of 4 through freshman year in highschool. I did not speak or interact with others except family members in my home (and this varied) in all activities outside of my house including shopping, church, parties with family and peers, all school activities including recess, lunch, etc. I was passed along in school and thought of as develomentally delayed. This was finally identified as severe anxiety dis.
