Presentation entertaining but lack depth. Would be appropriate for students & new SLPs, but less valuable for experienced SLPs. Substantial amount of info redundant with Part 1 (e.g., oral-mech). Speaker unaware of role & importance of CNX in swallowing.

I have commented before (on another presentation by this presenter) that the label for the the motor cortex of the brain is erroneously located posterior to the sensory cortex, when it should be anterior - This model should be corrected as the presenter was referring to this diagram as correct - it makes me wonder as to the accuracy of this presenter's other content related to neurology if she didn't identify that diagram in error.

Although I do not work in a medical setting, I thought it was an interesting topic and was curious about covid's implications and how it relates to the field of speech-language pathology. The content of this course was informative. It was interesting to learn that COVID attacks the inferior region of the brainstem. I learned that it enters through the lungs and travels into the central nervous system. There are a high number of neurological systems affected by COVID19, in addition to the respiratory system. I completely agree with the "you use it or you loose it" scenario. I believe it is important for all clients to practice, test, and retest their skills to increase cognitive functioning across daily living.
