Not enough examples of ways to use music in getting through to kids with autism. I did like the example of using music to stop some repetitive behaviors. I'd like to have heard of cases in which she used successful music intervention. More specific ways that behaviors or learning were targeted.

The presenter spent way too much time on describing and explaining autism and not enough time about various techniques one could use in push in and out therapy for SLP kids. Also, the font on some of the handouts was annoyingly small.

I was expecting more information about the actual connection between music and autism and communication. The speaker spent too much time proving the validity of her profession. The presentation was also full of "filler". For example, "um", "and", and lip smacking were used to the point of annoyance.
