This was an excellent course. The presenter is extremely knowledgeable in this domain and the program she is involved in sounds amazing. She is at the forefront and we definitely need more programs like hers in the Northeast! I had never heard of SCD (Subjectve Cognitive Decline) and the distinction between SCD and MCI was very helpful. This course was chock full of learning. Thank you!

My late father has non Alzheimer's dementia. I had a close friend who developed Alzheimer's and when her family suddenly moved her to another state and put her in a memory care unit, I could see all the things we had worked on disappear. The family was not interested in modifying their own behavior. I would suggest meeting with a few staff in a facility and presenting one thing they could work on then going from there.
