This was the most informative feeding course I have ever taken. I am an SLP and feeding is not my specialty, however, my baby has been diagnosed with an Omphalocele and I know that there will be many feeding challenges in our future when he is born. I feel so much more prepared and educated after taking this course.

Disappointed that there wasn't much discussion about sensory and motor skills. They ARE important for infants as well and even just understanding them in the context of the difficulties that the infant is having makes a professional be a better therapist.

The section on thickening was not accurate. You CAN in fact thicken breast milk. There is also an infant approved thickener, called gel mix, that was not mentioned during the course. This can be used to thicken BM, as well as Simply Thick (if child is>1 year). It should have been mentioned that rice cereal is/should no longer be used to thicken and this is old practice.
