This has, by far, been one of the best and most informative course I've taken in our field. I appreciate the educator's apparent breadth of knowledge as well as ensuring it's clear to the listeners that this topic should be thought about and approached holistically, and support giving the person (patient) the most autonomy over the process. I am looking forward to learning more in parts 2 and 3.

The information was very interesting and useful. I do look forward to continuing the series, as I already went through this with my father, and soon will be addressing these issues for my mother who is now 100 years old. However, for this session, there was not enough discussion of the distinction and similarities between palliative care and hospice, especially to answer some of the test questions. Some of the test questions, #3, #5, were not covered in the presentation...only on the slide and in the question and answer session.
