Dr. Heape is a phenomenal presenter. I always learn a lot from her courses. This time I learned more about the dementia stages and how speech can provide functional therapy. Of course, this can be a depressing topic, but Dr. Heape always sheds a positive light on the situation and how we can best help our patients. Very useful course!!!

The speaker is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about relaying information about this topic. I appreciated that the course spent considerable time going through the stages of dementia and what the focuses of intervention might be to correspond, however, there was markedly less attention to what the goals would be in a practical way. There were no case study profiles to help illustrate in a real world example how this is applied.
