In schooling, we are taught so much that we need to do most things on our own. It is nice to normalize asking for help and using our peers/colleagues/etc. to complete the multitude of tasks that are given to us in the field.

This course made the delegation feel approachable and meaningful. The speaker’s stories and honest reflections helped me see delegation not just as handing off tasks, but as a way to build trust, grow professionally, and stay focused on what matters. I left feeling more confident about delegating with clarity and empathy and why it makes such a difference.

It was hard presentation to follow. I felt that the presenter was very choppy throughout, and I struggled to stay engaged. I hoped it would get better. I also felt that the one question I missed was a general question of our practice and not simply in delegation of work.

This was a great session on delegation of work. In my work as a speech language pathologist in the schools sometimes it is hard to delegate because of pressures from parents on wanting a speech language pathologist to be in charge of their child. This is a great discussion, and one where I will discuss with parents that there is absolutely nothing wrong with delegating to an assistant
