Another ex of SLPs stepping out of their lane. This course is missing critical information about decision making, especially emotion-based and neuroanatomical aspects. I, too, am a fan of Kahneman, but that doesn't mean quoting a popular science book should be at the core of a CEU. I understand this is a limited series, but it is surface-level and limited. I would rather have a breadth of information from diverse studies, including literature from Damasio, Tranel, Koenigs, Bechara, etc.

I do like this presenter's teaching style, evenly paced, almost as if we were in conversation. I was not familiar with Kahneman's concept of Wysiati and am interested enough to continue to look into his ideas. "On the job" it is critical to work toward the balance in the 2 systems to help create the best outcomes for our clients. I also feel personally, this is a great and informative way to just look at our individual decision making strategies that relate to our personal lives.
