Video examples are key when referencing certain disorders. Definitely a topic where a picture is worth 1000 words. So those were much appreciated and would've welcomed more. The COPECAT looks like a very useful tool. The presenters may have simplified diagnosing a bit. There are definitely cases with co-morbid disorders. Would've liked a discussion / video example of that.

This course was excellent because it clearly differentiated between articulation disorders, phonological disorders, and childhood apraxia of speech using practical examples and clinical reasoning. The structured approach to assessment, including oral-mech exams and error analysis, strengthened diagnostic decision-making and made the content immediately applicable to clinical practice.

It is helpful to have the differences of a phonetic disorder; articulation disorder; and childhood apraxia of speech in one place to help identify a differential diagnosis. I also found it was helpful to have videos to demonstrate some of the information such as the oral mech exam of a client with the sub-mucus cleft. COPECAT will be used to help assessment my students within the school.
