I enjoyed the speaker presenting real-life examples of data collection systems that she uses in her work. The presenter stressed the importance of the quality versus quantity of information gathered during treatment sessions. This lecturer reminded the audience about involving clients in the data collection process to encouage them to take ownership of their performance.

It presented beginning, basic information. School SLP's need models and examples of practical ways to develop and implement data collection tools. For example, when asked about how to gather inference skill related data, her answer seemed vague. Another comment included, "probably definitely take data every time" which does not demonstrate confidence and experienced knowledge.
