I liked her explanations regarding how to scaffold a rubric that could be easily used in a school therapy setting. She gave lots of good ideas for how to collect data on activities that don't easily lend themselves to being tallied.

I am in a long-term care setting and was curious to see if what is used in schools can be applied to what I do in long-term care. I liked the concept of rubrics which is new for me and I can see writing those for my patients. I am not in a position to say whether or not this was a good presentation since I am not in schools and know little about SLPs' world in schools. I am contemplating the idea of not taking data each session and I am not sure that will work in the long-term care setting.
