While I didn’t mind the conversational tone to this course, I felt that the two participants on the podcast wandered way too far off topic way too frequently. They were pleasant to listen to, but offered very little practical advice or information about actual strategies to implement when working with parents. Overall, it was a disappointing course, in my opinion.

I don't feel that I came away with much that I can implement with the parents of my students in an effective manner. It didn't have many concrete, detailed strategies to implement outside of directing us to their social media outlets. It felt like it was mostly promoting the speakers themselves rather than informing peers. It was not an informative focused format. It seemed to be a socially focused format.

This style of apparent over-talking by the host seemed to limit the amount of info actually shared. The host and speaker did appear to hit it off. I do believe in what they were promoting and have been implementing this mentality in my practice, so I guess that that was confirmed. This style of learning (podcast) may just not be the best fit for me...? IDK, but I guess I was hoping for ideas I hadn't yet implemented to further stretch and improve my service to my families.

I felt this course was vague in its information, common sensical and although the speaker seemed very nice and dedicated, she really needs to work on not saying the word "like" so frequently as a filler word. Also, the course took an odd turn talking about negative social media exposure as well as "fighting" amongst the professional domains, as mentioned by the guest speaker. This was not one of my favorite podcasts.
