When I was a school based SLP, I encountered these types of disfluencies more frequently and never seemed to have the "answer" for the student or parent. This was very informative!

This topic can be frustrating for clinicians to treat due to the limited research! I have a personal interest in this as my husband and brother-in-law also present with word-final disfluencies. They have been told since they were young that they "repeat" things, but have difficulty hearing it themselves. They also have ADHD diagnoses. I now have multiple students with atypical disfluencies. Thank you so much for bringing light to this topic and giving assessment and treatment methods!
