Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - (SLP - School)

Pay Rate: $1972.00 - $2051.00
AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in Rosenberg, Texas to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support students’ academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and provide appropriate diagnoses.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEPs.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress.
Participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings and contribute to eligibility and placement decisions.
Maintain accurate documentation and student records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Supervise and support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed.
Stay current with professional development, licensure requirements, and best practices.
Provide referrals and resources to families and community agencies.
Participate in district-wide initiatives and contribute to campus improvement plans.
Community Engagement: Strong ties between schools and families enhance the educational experience.

Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School, Teletherapy
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Speech Therapist Clinical Fellows are Encouraged to Apply
State License is Required to Start the Assignment
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members. Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state Regulations.
